[FY09/23 Announcement of Financial Results for the Third Quarter] Consolidated transaction volume of 72.5 billion yen(206% compared to the same period last year), consolidated sales of 16.7 billion yen(196% compared to the same period last year), operating profit of 2.65 billion yen(152% compared to the same period last year) in Q3. For the full year, the company expects to achieve a turnover in excess of 100 billion yen for the first time since FY19/9 before the coronavirus pandemic, with sales of 24 billion yen and operating profit of 3 billion yen(both figures revised upwards on 15 May).
We are pleased to announce the announcement of financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023 for the 17th term.

The current term is positioned as the third term of the second stage "Re-Start" after listing, and under the medium- to long-term growth strategy "AirTrip 5000" and the FY23.9 growth strategy "AirTrip Re-Start", which were announced from this term, the AirTrip Online Travel Business has achieved a significant increase in sales and profits compared to the same period of the previous year. AirTrip Online Travel Business grew significantly and achieved year-on-year increases in both revenue and profit in the third quarter.

In relation to the full-year forecast after the second upward revision of the current fiscal year announced during the third quarter, profits have been steadily accumulated over the nine months, leaving a situation where the fourth quarter, the peak season, is still to come, and the full-year transaction volume of over 100 billion yen is expected to be achieved for the first time since FY19/9 before the coronavirus pandemic, with sales of 24 billion yen and operating profit of 3 billion yen(both figures revised upwards on 5/15). 

AirTrip Online Travel Business is driving the entire business portfolio as a pillar of earnings by steadily capturing domestic travel demand, especially in conjunction with the increase in demand associated with the shift to category 5 of the coronavirus, and through continued strategic marketing investment.

Existing business areas other than AirTrip Online Travel Business [IT Off-shore Development Business, Inbound Travel Agency / Wi-Fi Rental Business, Media Business, Investment Business (AirTrip CVC) and Regional Revitalization Business] are generally performing well and steadily, and we are promoting further business portfolio construction and strategically building and strengthening the "AirTrip Economic Zone".

In addition, a seventh new business, Cloud Business, has been launched.
N’s ENTERPRISE, a subsidiary of the Company, and KANXASHI Corporation, an AirTrip CVC investee that operates a Cloud Business, will be integrated through M&A, with the aim of listing the new company as a subsidiary.

In the future, domestic travel demand is expected to remain steady and overseas travel demand is expected to recover further, through increased earnings in the AirTrip Online Travel Business through strategic marketing investment in response to travel demand based on new behavioural patterns, continued growth in the six existing businesses outside the travel business and strategic business portfolio building, AirTrip Group aims for endless growth.
